MPLS - First time I am configuring and MPLS circuit with Ruckus switches. Any tips or suggestions?
unknown
First time we are working with an ISP and programming a MPLS circuit or "Vlan product" or "ring" which ever you want to call it. Any suggestions or help programming both the switch and the core?

Hi Jeff
Ruckus ICX switches don't support MPLS, can you provide more details on the set-up that you have.

They call it MPLS but it is really just a "Vlan" product. The support Layer 2 over a ring

They provide a demarc at our data center and a dmarc at our offsite location. They basically give us a vlan to travel on. Nothing special or fancy.

Hi Jeff,
I assume they are referring to Q-in-Q tagging, Could you confirm pls ? Also the ICX switch model and firmware running.
Thanks

Yes on the Q-in-Q tagging. ICX 7150 ZP - firmware 08.0.8

Thanks, We have Tag profile based Q-in-Q and selective Q-in-Q on Ruckus ICX switches.
The tag-type option is limited to devices with different port-regions for ingress and egress, So you may use the tag profile method to achieve q-in-q.
Following link has config notes, examples for reference.
