How can I do ping from configuration menu
Quite hassle if have to exit from config menu to do ping

ctrl-z is a hassle?

Not possible. You will have to do exit as you mentioned.

I can do ping in config menu in Cisco, Fortigate.
I hope ping included in future firmware upgrade
