What is the actual switching capacity of the C08-ZP? It says 56 Gb/s in the product specifications but in the Ruckus model feature comparison sheet it says 200 Gb/s.
Hi Robert,
I found the 56 Gb on the data sheet, but couldn't find that other document "Ruckus model feature comparison sheet"
Could you please share the link or a screenshot?
Yes, it's the data sheet here: https://webresources.vistancenetworks.com/download/assets/RUCKUS+ICX+8200+Data+Sheet/3b4a7128d7a311f0bbd3e674d717417b
Thank you; I think you are referring to this:
These are different models, so have different capacity.
ZP is 200 Gbps.
Hi Robert,Thank you for sharing the URL which you have referred. It is indeed the datasheet for ICX 8200 switch series. We do have multiple models available under the ICX8200 series. If you refer the same datasheetIn page 4, we have the switching capacity of RUCKUS ICX 8200-C08PF model listed as 56 GbpsIn page 6, we have the switching capacity of RUCKUS ICX 8200-C08ZP model listed as 200 GbpsSwitching capacity varies based on the switch model.Robin SaseendranSr Tech Support Engineer - EMEA
Yes, but on the product specifications page here: https://www.ruckusnetworks.com/products/ethernet-switches/itemicx8200-c08zp/ it says 56 Gb/s for the c08zp model. Which is what prompted my question.
Yes, but on this page: https://www.ruckusnetworks.com/products/ethernet-switches/itemicx8200-c08zp/ that is specific for the C08ZP model, if you click on general specifications it has all the other information correct for the c08zp: POE budget, port speed, etc. but it says switching capacity maximum is 56 Gb/s.
Thank you for sharing the link, I can see the issue now.
I will review it internally and get back to you later this week.
Thank you for your patience. I checked internally and confirmed the real switching capacity for C08ZP is 200 Gbps. We will take care of fixing the info on the document you shared.
Thank you for bringing this up and helping us improve!
