I have two R510's in my home, one is working perfect. The other will not respond to a factory reset, and is flashing RED on the PWR light slowly.
Does this AP need to be replaced?
Hi @ryandriven
Greetings!!!
Thank you for reaching out to the RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issues you are experiencing with your RUCKUS setup.
Based on the information provided, it appears that one of your Access Points is not working.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and are committed to assisting you promptly.
Please unplug the ethernet cable of this Access Point the Switch port and plug it back into any other available 1-in-12 ports as highlighted in the below screenshot. Once done, please check if that comes to the normal state.
Please let me know how it goes.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

That did not work. The AP is still flashing red.
Thank you for the response and the update.
Could you please try connecting the affected Access Point to an external power 12 VDC adapter and check it separately without connecting to the Switch PoE port cable? (Please refer to the below screenshot). Usually, you will find the 12 VDC adapter connected to your ISP’s (Internet Service Provider’s) Router/Modem-Router combo device.
Once connected try to perform the factory reset of the Access Point as described in the below guide.
Physical Factory Reset of RUCKUS Access Point:

Please check the Access Point following the above process and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Hi, I reset using the 12v adapter. This did NOT work. I still have a flashing red light. Can we replace the unit?

Please refer to the example pictures provided below for guidance.
For the video upload, we have created a designated link for your convenience. You can access it via the following link: (Refer to the EXAMPLE VIDEOS from this drive link)
