I have a new router with a different speed and wanted to update my ruckus with the new WiFi information but we have been unsuccessful. Is there a way to do that so the extender can launch all throughout the house?

Based on the picture I don’t have the Lennar WiFi white box underneath the ruckus box. I have a netgear box and a lot of wires trying to connect my new modem into the ruckus so it appears the netgear is the middle point between my modem and the ruckus so not sure how I can get the ruckus to pick up my new WiFi because the old one is gone but it still registers the old one by name on my devices because of ruckus yet I don’t know how that is even possible
Thank you for the response.
Could you please let us know the answers to the below queries to assist you better?
1) On your switch while it's plugged into the outlet, do you see any lights on? (Amber or green) Please let us know which lights are on. (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same, showing the light status and the FULL Switch panel cable connections to the Switch ports)
2) May I know how many Access Points are connected to the Switch? Could you please let me know the light status on the Access Points? Any of these lights are on (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same)
Please help us with pictures of your ICX-7150-C12P Switch showing the status of the lights and cable connections to the Switch ports. Also, light the status of Access Points.
Before uploading the photos please log in to the RUCKUS account and you can upload the image.
Please let us know the answers to ALL the above queries or let us know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience.
The ruckus box has a flashing amber light and 2 green lights on. The net gear has all green lights and I don’t have one of the boxes your picture is showing me but the only other white box I have shows a green light. This is all in my bedroom closet and the wires are all over the place and I did log into my account yet I’m unable to send pictures. Out of curiosity, is this the only way to communicate to get things fixed or corrected?
I finally was able to upload pictures to show you the lights and the chaotic setup
Thank you for sharing the response.
From the pictures you shared, I understand that the status lights on the Switch is Amber and the PWR light is Green which means that the Switch is stuck in the boot mode.
Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to fix the issue when the Switch is in boot mode.
/kb/articles/4-fixing-ruckus-switch-with-an-amber-orange-light-on-syst-green-light-on-pwr-no-lights-on-aps
Please follow the process as explained in the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
I did the reset so the amber color is no longer there but I’m not sure if the other lights are supposed to be flashing green or if they are supposed to be a solid green color also
Also how do I get the Ruckus to use my new WiFi because it still linked to an old WiFi that no longer exists
This whole process is extremely frustrating because I have reset the ruckus to no longer have the amber light but trying to configure it to my new WiFi it is not working. I have the unleashed app and it’s not picking up anything. I tried to manually input my new WiFi information and it is not showing the configureme in my WiFi settings. I honestly don’t know what else to do. Me reading through all your guides and stuff is not helping to fix my issue. Do you all not have a different kind of support other than you replying sending me guide after guide. I just want this fixed so things function properly throughout my house
From the response shared, I could understand that you are unable to login to the Unleashed App.
Could you please try accessing your Unleashed system using a laptop web browser? You can do this by entering the Master AP IP Address or by visiting https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/. Just make sure you're connected to the RUCKUS Wi-Fi network.
If you’re still unable to access it and don’t know the IP address of your access points, please refer to the guide below for help in locating the IP address:
How to find the IP address of RUCKUS devices using free applications:/kb/articles/10-how-to-find-the-ip-address-of-the-ruckus-devices-switch-and-aps-using-ip-scanner-free-applications
Once you've found the IP address of the AP, you should be able to log in and see the Unleashed dashboard.
Please check the current version of your Unleashed Access Points and share a screenshot of the same.
Please refer to the below screenshot for more information on how to know your Unleashed Access Points version details.
Please help us with the above requested information and let us know if you have any queries in this regard.
Regards,
Still haven’t gotten the ruckus to pick up the new WiFi and I realized that one of the pictures of the white box that was located from your pictures is not located where everything else is in my house but on the roof of my hallway so I honestly don’t know if that makes a difference or why I can’t seem to get the ruckus connected to my new WiFi. This is all very frustrating
Also I don’t have anywhere where it says WiFi password for lennar-cxxxxx and connect
I also am not getting a configure me under the WiFi like some of these videos are mentioning
May I please know if you were able to access the Unleashed dashboard through browser?
If yes, please share the screenshot of the Unleashed version details as referred in the previous post.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
This is the access points
I’m still waiting to have someone do a remote session with me to get my WiFi in sync based on what the dashboard is showing with my new SSID created. I’m available now and would really like this to be finally resolved. Thank you. I’ve been sending messages to a private chat but no response has been given back
Is anyone available to provide a private remote session with me to get my systems working properly? I’ve been responding back in this Forum and I’m not getting anywhere with whom has been trying to help me because now I’m getting no communication back since last night. This truly should not be this difficult and wish someone was available to call
