If you're using RUCKUS networking equipment in your Lennar Smart Home, such as the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch and RUCKUS R510 Unleashed Access Points, you may sometimes need to access these devices for troubleshooting or configuration.
To do this, you’ll first need to know their IP addresses, which are like digital home addresses for your devices on your local network. This guide explains step-by-step how to find the IP addresses using free IP scanner tools, even if you have no technical background.

Steps to Find IP Addresses (Windows Example)
Step 1: Download and Open Advanced IP Scanner
- Download the tool from the official website (refer link above).
- You can run it without installing (portable version) or install it on your computer.

Step 2: Run a Scan
- Open the application.
- Click on the “Scan” button to let it discover devices on your network.

Step 3: Identify RUCKUS Devices
- Look for device names such as:
- Ruckus Wireless
- Ruckus-Unleashed
- Ruckus ICX-7150
- Brocade Communications (older name for the switch manufacturer)

Verify the Correct Device:
For RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch:
- In the scanner results, find an entry named “Brocade Communications” or “Ruckus ICX-7150”.
- Copy its IP address and paste it in your web browser.
- If it opens a login screen like Figure 6, you've successfully found the switch’s IP address.
- After login, you’ll see the main dashboard like Figure 7.

For RUCKUS R510 Access Points:
- Look for entries named “Ruckus-Unleashed” or “Ruckus Wireless”.
- Paste the IP address into your web browser.
- If the page looks like Figure 8, you've located the Access Point.
- After logging in, you’ll see the dashboard similar to Figure 9.

Tips & Notes
- Ensure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same network (Wi-Fi or LAN) or Internet Service Provider's (ISP) network as your RUCKUS devices.
- You might see multiple devices with similar names, check each IP address in a browser until you land on the correct login screen.
- If login credentials are required and you haven't changed them, refer to your Lennar welcome materials or contact RUCKUS Support.
