I've been working with guest access workflows recently and have been reading through some of the older discussions here around guest pass generation, self-registration and social-login guest portals.
I'm curious whether guest portals are still the preferred onboarding method today.
From what I've seen, there seems to be a gradual shift away from social-login approaches as platforms and requirements have evolved, but I'd be interested to hear what people are deploying in practice.
Are you still using guest portals, or have you moved toward another approach for guests, students, BYOD devices or temporary users?
I'd be interested to hear what's working well, what challenges still remain, and whether you're seeing WPA3 or DPSK play a larger role in new deployments.
