Vscg - Cannot create role for guest pass creation

I am evaluating Vscg running 3.1.1.0.329 and found that we cannot create a new role and then assign it to a user which can ONLY  create guest passes.

is this bug or working as designed which will be fixed in future release? if later then when it is expected to be addressed?

There is a role for that already.  If you look under the Administrators, there is a Guest Pass Generator role there, and then you would tie an account from the Administrator Domains to that.  It is a little clunky and not super clear, but that is how we have done it.

its dis-appointing to see no response in an official forum to something which is either a bug or half cooked feature. Both of which require attention..
