ZF7962 won't connect with firmware 9.6

Question

My zf 7962 and 7982 AP's won't connect after upgrading the ZD3025 to 9.6 from 9.5.2.0 build 15. They do connect when I downgrade back to 9.5.2.0 build 15. I'm told that 9.6 offers better Apple TV performance and that's why the push to upgrade.

Both models of AP are supported in ZD 9.6 firmware, so the problem could be IP

connectivity or LWAPP discovery problems.  Do you see the APs connect and

upgrade firmware, then not come back?  If you can find the APs' IP address, use

SSH to access the AP, login with the ZD admin credentials and issue the cmd:

set  director  ip  a.b.c.d  [a.b.c.e]

then

reboot

And this will point the AP to the ZoneDirector, to send it's LWAPP discovery pkts.
