Misunderstanding of Licenses for Vsz-D description

Hi Guys,

we have a Vsz-D used to secure user data plane via Ruckus GRE tunnel, thus in order to buy License for APs i reached out Data sheet but i didn't understand the following model description

L09-vSZD-WW00/BW10/BWUL  :  Virtual Data Plane works with SmartZone 3.2 or newer software virtual appliance, 1 instance (throughput up to 1 Gbps / 10Gpbs per instance)  Or  no throughput cap license

what does it mean Instance in this case , is it the AP or Vsz-D ?

in other hand, we beleive that Vsz-D is managed by a Vsz controller so what are licenses that i need also to order for Vsz ?

Hi There,

The vSZ-D is licensed per vSZ-D instance (RTU) and by throughput.
You can buy three levels of license for each of your vSZ-D:* up to 1 Gbps
* up to 10 Gbps
* unlimited (no cap on throughput)

You don't need to buy any AP licenses for your vSZ-D as your AP licenses are already covered by your vSZ Controller.
