Is it possible to mix indoor (R700) and outdoor (7782) APs?
unknown
I had to temporarily add a R700 to a network of 7782 APs but it seems it is not possible to connect to the R700.

Yes its possible, already had a venue with R700 and 7782-N and 7782-S . does your firmware of the ZD is updated and already support the model R700?
unknown
The units are operated in standalone mode. The R700 has the latest firmware 100.1.0.0.432, the 7782's have the previous one 9.8.3.0.14.

Hi Jean,
That should be no problem.
Even in standalone client should be able to connect.
Did you try without any encryption enabled ?
Kind regards
Martin

Haven't tried without encryption. This deployment is remote and I don't have remote access. I will have to go there to investigate and do more tests. If nothing else works I'll try to downgrade the R700 to the same firmware version.

Ok Jean I understand.
If you still have the issue, i think then its best get the AP support log of the AP, as that is something we need to look at to see how the AP is configured and what is happening inside the AP.
Kind regards
Martin
