I have a Ruckus ZD-1200 and 4 Ruckus AP R730.
ZD has 10.5.1.0 build 199 firmware that supports AP 730. but still none of my AP joined ZD 1200.
they can ping each other so there is no issue on the network configuration.
any one Help !
The APs won't join your ZoneDirector if they're running SmartZone or Cloud firmware (i.e. version 3.6, 5.1, 5.2, 6.0 or 6.1). In this case they'll need to be factory reset and upgraded to Solo firmware first.
The APs will also fail to join if you've bought APs from the US but your ZD country isn't set to USA.
(And of course they'll fail to join if they're on a different subnet from the ZD and you haven't told them where to find the director).

country setting on the ZD is USA.
software version on the AP R730 is ( 5.2.2.0.1004) but there is nothing mention if it is could or smartzone.
however i reset it (via reset button) but still no luck. CTL light status = Green (keep blinking)
Need some more suggestions !
As I said 5.2 is SmartZone firmware. So you'll need to factory reset each R730 and upgrade to Solo firmware.

I had the same problem, but i can not upgrade 5.2.2.0.1004 to 114.0.0.0.6565.bl7 or to 112.1.0.0.504.bl7, i get "Image public key verification failed"...Tried with Chrome instead of Safari after factory reset and was able to upload 114.0.0.0.6565.bl7
