The access points are not the issue. They operate fine. They start up fine. The issue is the switch itself. The switch turns itself off and we are unable to do anything in the console since it is stuck in an almost runaway state where the command line auto enters thousands and thousands of times making it unusuable. The switch automatically reboots every 10 to 20 minutes. This is pointing to a defective switch.
We cant update the firmware or software if the console wont allow us to enter anything. It has been factory reset with the same results. This makes zero difference as it isnt a software issues, this is a hardware issue.
The lights appear normal. This device needs to be RMAd
For the detailed understanding of the issue we need to know the LED status of the switch and the access points.
Also please share the image of the switch and the access points showing the LED status and the cable connections.
Here is where you can upload the image/photo :
you can also drag it to the chat
Jayavidhya,
As I have already stated, The LED lights show as normal; this does not correct the issues we are encountering with the switch, this issue is completely irrelevant to the Wireless access points. I have uploaded pictures as requested; this, however, does not even remotely address the fact that this unit is turning itself off randomly and why the console is completely unusable. This is not related to the access points in any shape or form; this is an issue with the switch. I have seen the access points work fine on their own. This is pointing to a likely underlying hardware issue since this is continually rebooting, I have attempted to factory reset this and am stuck in exactly the same spot even after doing that. We cannot change the firmware or software since the console is not able to be used.
For your reference, I am an IT professional with 17 years of experience working on this type of hardware. I am not your typical home user who does not know how to troubleshoot and repair network equipment.
I submitted the info you requested, what is the status on this?
I need to get this switch to be exchanged on RMA.
Thanks
We cannot replace the chassis until you confirm that the hardware or software got damaged.
Please follow the below link carefully on how to console access the switch.

Also please share the screenshot of the error you are getting while following the steps.
Hello RJH,
My name is David, support manager.
I have been checking this post, indeed you proved in your first explanation that the switch is defective, it seems to be in a boot loop, if the factory reset did not work, there is no other option than to replace it.
I apologize for the confusion we had on this post, I am approving this RMA.
You should get a reply from the case, you have already created.
