Hello all,

Recently our management starts discussion on replacement our current Wireless solution in office. We have some reseller quote us the Ruckus R650WW. And then also with Cloudpath cloud license and Cloud Analytics AP.

I have a little experience with Ruckus before, it's easy to manage, great coverage.

But I don't have much experience on Cloudpath or Cloud AnalyticsAP , what are they really for? Are these necessary to make it run?

The background in our office is we are having Microsoft AD with policy pushing the certificates to our internal laptops when connecting in office. We are having / going to have 4 to 5 SSIDs for our daily activities including MDM and Guest access.

For the Cloudpath, can I say that this is a Cloud based management portal so I can manage those policies or end user clients from this portal? I understand there is a license cost per concurrent user to the Wifi.

And for the Ruckus Analytics, the quote from the reseller is RUCKUS Cloud Analytics AP Spp5yr REC. And this is per AP unit cost. So for this item, it includes the support of the AP as well as the usage of features that mentioned?

Cloudpath ES can be deployable on-premise as a VMware server(s) or is available as a cloud service as per customer preference and Yes license structure is per User basis.

For the RA, Yes the license structure would be per AP basis and it would cover all the features from RA.

Again these two are very crucial product as CP manages policy/security of WiFi user connection and RA manages overall monitoring of your Ruckus System and keeps you updated on your Controllers,APs, and clients health and help identify issues with them as well as monitor overall Performance of WiFi devices.
