The wireless client may prefer 5G over 2.4G (ie Apple), so you would have to create SSIDs just for one radio band, or the other, to truly control which band clients connect to.

See Advanced Options/Radio Control when you edit your Unleashed WLAN, and you can set it for 2.4g only, 5g only, or All Radios (default).
