Decreased mobile device battery life on 9.7.2.0 build 9?

Anyone else seeing decreased battery life with mobile devices on 9.7.2.0 build 9? I've had several people mention this to me as well as noticed myself a general decrease in cell phone battery life since upgrading. Devices mentioned have been Android 4.4.4 devices. Used to go all day with wifi on but now my phone is dead before 5 PM.

Do you have many apps installed on those devices? I've got a few and my phone is hardly ever quiet on the network, even if left on the table with screen of. The below picture shows all the packets from and to my device and as you can see there are no gaps. If I increase the resolution I get a few gaps here and there but very very few. This eats up battery.
