I have 2 unleashed R710 and
2 unleashedR510.
Registration button and upgrade button greyed out.
no firmware version showing.
only hard reset works. Does not fix any isues.
Doubt these are all hardware issues but maybe.
Hi @David1
Can you open the Unleash interface on Firefox and Internet explorer to see if the tab is available on these browser if not done yet ? Additionally what is the current software on the devices ?
Best Regards
Vineet
The software version is greyed out (blank) as is all functions on the upgrade page. Will try different browsers.
@David1
Please keep us posted on how it went with firefox and IE browser and if it works what was the version running.
The other browsers did not work, I downloaded new version of android mobile app and was able to access R710 after manual hard reset,
Same with R610, upgrade option is greyed out. Was thinking to work in parallel with R650, but don’t know how, as are unable to bring to the same FW due to this issue. God know what lifetime warranty did it have.
Having the same issue with some R510s. Tried 3 different browsers - different machines.
Hi @bdillard You can try doing the upgrade from CLI as well, but the easiest way would be to use Unleashed application.1. Install the Unleashed application.2. Connect to the SSID and open the application.3. Through the application, upgrade the APs.
Encountered the same issue when i attempted to upgrade an older R610 with firmware version 200.6.
Was really frustrating as I thought it was my browser problem, using both chrome and edge both face the same issue where upgrade options are all greyed out and current firmware version is not being displayed. I made the AP undergo countless factory hard reset and i even resort to rebooting my router to try.
Finally used the Unleashed mobile app and triggered the upgrade. Firmware auto selected in app was from 200.6 to 200.7.10.2.339. After app prompted AP will auto restart after firmware upgrade (which i think it happened), app then showed error "Unable to fetch AP verisons". This lasted for about 10 mins. I sidetrack to do other work, then decided to give the app another shot and FINALLY the APP detected and showed the existing firmware is now 200.7.10.2.339.
My final attempt was to upgrade from 200.7.10.2.339 to 200.15.6.12.304 (which was auto selected by app). Same issue with app showing error "Unable to fetch AP verisons". Waited 10mins to retry and YES it worked (i guess there is a lag in the app/AP - which wasnt as instant as i would want it to).
Lastly, the final version prompted was "We have an improved firmware for 200.15. We recommend upgrading to it. Firmware that will be upgrade to is 200.15.6.112.54. I did that and i finally reached the latest firmware version (as of now).
hope my notes helped those with the same problem
