Connect APs ( R510)  to Virtual SmartZone - Essentials  3.6 using wireless only ( without cables connected to the network) - I`m planning to use Mesh but I don`t wanna make  pre setups using network cables.  note: I`m not using unleash

Hi Beginner,Correct controller running v5.x, and your AP should have the new version also which has the zero-touch mesh code, I think it is 110.x.x.xRegardsMartin

Hi,We have introduced 'Zero Touch Mesh' in the SmartZone and Solo AP software platforms.

The following are the Zero touch mesh limitations.

Zero-touch mesh only supports 5Ghz

Zero-touch mesh only supports Solo AP 110+ and SZ AP 5.0+

When Solo AP upgrades from previous release (for example 104 or 106) to
110, AP needs a set factory option to activate zero-touch mesh

When Solo AP has the updated configuration (for example, WLAN
configuration update), the AP needs a set factory option to activate zero-
touch mesh
