If you can ping APs, try SSH and login with ZD admin credentials.
Do you see the ZD's IP when you type 'get director'?

Else try 'set director ip ', followed by 'reboot'.

This should send the AP's LWAPP request to the ZD on next boot up.

Follow your Monitor/Access Points page Events/Activities log like Monnat suggested to see if it connects, or...?

under 5 minutes if all is ok as per my experience.

if yo can see it and is approved but can't edit then it means that AP is not in "connected" state.

check the AP event and activities to see ZD-AP connection behaviour for clues..
