Hi, i am an IT Support for a 5 star hotel currently using an extensive network of ruckus equipments. I wanted to deploy a stand alone ruckus 7762 AP to one of our external outlets without using a zone director. Is that possible and how? Thanks

Before you connect the AP to your network, directly connect with a PC and give it a command to use a bogus ZD IP address, then it will never connect to your existing ZD network.

rkscli:  set director ip 1.1.1.1
rkscli:  reboot

If you don't give it a static IP outside your DHCP scope (recommended) you will have to look up it's IP from MAC address in your lease table.
