Templates on 5.2.1.0.515

Question

I've just upgraded to 5.2.1.0.515 and I see that there is a new Firewall section in the WLAN policy that covers L2 and L3 ACLs etc. This is great but you have not replicated this in the WLAN templates feature, Consequently there is no way to set an L3 ACL in the template. L2 ACLs are where they have always been but L3 is missing. Has this been noted by the QA team for fixing in the next release?

I've just noticed that the templates are related to the firmware, but there is no way of changing the firmware of an old template. You just have to make a new set of templates.

But if you are using the old template, the issue is still there, L3 is missing. I guess I'll be making some new templates then.

Please refer to FR-4810 when calling TAC that you would like to see this feature implemented.

Hi Bruce,

As per current system design, you cannot upgrade the zone template firmware. This means you have to create a new template with the desired AP zone firmware.
