7363 2.4 Ghz light is amber/orange
unknown
I have a Zoneflex 7363 WAP that is connected to a Zone Director. It periodically has the 2.4 Ghz light go amber/orange. The last time I tried to connect to it for diagnostics, it came up fine and went back to being green.
Is this some sort of sleep mode? Is there some kind of problem with it?

From the Indoor AP User Guide:
https://support.ruckuswireless.com/do...
• Amber: The WLAN service is up, at least one client
is associated, but signal quality is poor (RSSI < 15)."
unknown
If nothing has changed in the setup with the Zone Director, does that mean the WAP is damaged?
Where is the signal quality poor? Coming from the WAP? Coming from the client? Coming from the ZD via the ethernet cable?

I think it just means at least one attached client has poor RSSI for that point in time. It doesn't really indicate a problem per-se - it's just informational. It could indicate the noise floor went up, a bag of water (person) walked in front of the client, etc.

amber means no clients currently connected to that band. nothing wrong.

2.4G LED (WLAN)
• Off: The WLAN service is down.
• Green: The WLAN service is up, at least one client is associated,
and signal quality is good (RSSI >= 15).
• Flashing green (two flashes every second): The WLAN service
is up but no clients are associated.
• Amber: The WLAN service is up, at least one client is
associated, but signal quality is poor (RSSI < 15).
5G LED (WLAN)
• Off: The WLAN service is down.
• Green: The WLAN service is up, at least one client is associated
(standalone), or at least one downlink MAP is connected (RAP),
or uplink RAP is connected (MAP), and signal quality is good
(RSSI >= 15).
• Fast flashing green (two flashes every second): The WLAN
service is up but no clients are associated (standalone), no
downlink MAPs are connected (RAP), or no uplink RAP is
connected (MAP).
• Amber: The WLAN service is up, at least one wireless client is
associated (standalone), or at least one downlink MAP is
connected (RAP), or uplink RAP is connected (MAP), but signal
quality is poor (RSSI < 15).
Probably the client is bit far away. Nothing wrong.
