Ruckus ZF7372 Backup Config
unknown
Hi All,
I have configured my Ruckus ZoneFlex 7372 APs as standalone APs. Is there any way I can backup the config of the one AP and reboot the other APs with that backup config file - instead of reconfiguring my other APs from scratch?
Thanks,
Brendon

Hi Brendon sorry did not get to your other post in configuration, but since you figured it out. Let's deal with your current question. In the upgrades tab...You should see a save parameters option and a restore option.
unknown
Thank you so much. I'll have a look today for those parameters.
Can you perhaps tell me, what firmware version I should download and use on the ZF7372 AP?
hayward_kong
I believe standalone firmware 104.0.0.0.1347 is the last one for the 7372..same thing applies to 7982 which I just got for a friend for $18..99..
unknown
The option "Save parameters only" does not create a backup that I can download onto my PC... Please help. I do not have a controller. I only have 12 APs that I can manage without the controller.
unknown
Is there perhaps a CLI command that I can use to retrieve a backup?

Not sure that’s a question for ruckus forum support team

No we cannot create a backup from Solo AP, but you can capture WLAN details to help create additional AP setups.
There is a public KBA-1670: Backup on Standalone AP, but it's not appearing (I've contacted IT). Here is the content:
No it is not possible to take a backup of standalone AP configuration today.
You can gather configuration information and use it to configure a new/factory defaulted AP though.
SSH to an AP and you can determine which WLANs are in use, and details about them.
In this example, I have one open auth WLAN on 2.4GHz, and one open and one
WPA2-PSK WLAN on 5GHz of my dual-band 7962 model AP, with no VLANs assigned.
