SpeedFlex speeds on Unleashed R600 vs ZD1205

I hope I am not creating a duplicate thread, I did a quick search but didn't see anything immediately.

I am running firmware 200.3.9.13.228 on an Unleashed R600. I noticed a difference in speeds with SpeedFlex when testing direct to the AP and to the ZD1205.

When I test direct to the AP I get speeds approx 160-180 Mb PS.
When I test direct to the ZD1205 I get speeds approx 240-260 Mb PS.

When I connect to the ZD I am testing through the AP that can only doing 160-180 Mb PS yet I can get higher speeds.

Is this normal? Is there a reason for the difference? Or am I missing something simple?
