Why r720 using double the power of r710 at idle?

I have an unleashed r710 and r720 with the following POE stats.

r710  802.3at
Class4
4600 mW
r720  802.3at
Class4 9200 mW

Cable lengths are pretty much the same so is the load.

The r720 has the same type of chip by newer, which should result in lower power.
2.5G port likely requires more power but not double i hope.


Anything can be done to reduce the power usage to the r710 levels?

Tried setting the r720 to 802.3af strangely the power draw was just as high if not higher than 802.3at / 802.3at+
