How do I mesh three 7942 devices without Zone Director? and is this possible? Different channels needed?

Hello Wesley,

The Mesh functionality is not available when there is no ZD present on the network. You can although have clients seamlessly roam in-between AP's by having their coverage areas overlap by 30% , you will also have to configure all three AP's with the same SSID's and encryption/PSK to have the clients connect with no issues.
