Unifi controller only works with Unifi devices....

Ruckus device can be used with Ruckus controllers, unleashed, or standalone.

If you are looking for a free controller for ruckus without paying license fees, then you'll have to get devices that support unleashed. Just note, R300 does not support unleashed. You would have to stick with R310 or newer... note R310, R500, R600 is only supported until unleashed firmware 200.7.x... R510, R610, R710 are supported with the most current firmware now 200.8.x

We have around 300 R300 & 50 R310. Just needing to know if they will work on other AP controller. Our management is looking for UNIFI im not sure who told them that it would work and can control them like ZD instead of renewing licenses and watchdog. Can you confirm they cant work together?

I can confirm that with 100% certainty that Unifi controller will not work for any Ruckus Device.. What current Controller or Controllers are they currently using on Ruckus and what firmware version is the current controller on?

yeah no more R300 now in the market. and the license is very expensive.
