SmartZone and ZoneDirector on same subnet ?

Hello, we have a ZoneDirector cluster currently in production. I am going to install a SmartZone cluster for future migration. Is there any risk if I install the new SmartZone cluster in the same subnet as the existing ZoneDirector i.e. risk of access points unexpectedly joining the SmartZone or anything weird like that ?

Everything will work fine provided you turn off auto join on both controllers.  New APs added to the network will appear in both controllers waiting for admin approval on whichever controller you choose.  When you're ready to migrate, it's good to set DHCP option 43 to point to the SZ (both vsa's - 3 and 6).
