Radius Mac authentication on vlan 2

I am trying to use radius for mac authentication for vlan 2. My radius server is on vlan one as is my zone director. Dhcp is provided by a third party device on vlan 2. I am having no luck Long delays with the radius server, never getting a dhcp address. Help would be appreciated

if we take a radius server and Mac auth and just do simple WPA2 auth for a moment. Do you get correct IP?

if yes, then is mac auth going right? Does it fail resulting in no IP?

please share more info...
