Hotspot succesfullly authenticated URL redirect failing with Android 8.0 Oreo

Hello, I have a Zonedirector Hotspot service configured. It works perfectly with iOS, Android 6 and Android 9.
However I notice with a test user Samsung using an Android 8.0 Galaxy S9 that the 'After user is authenticated' URL redirect fails i.e .when the user first connecst to the Hotspot SSID they are redirected to the Hotspot login page and they authenticate and are then granted full network access, BUT they never get that final redirect as specified within the Hotspot service.
Has anyone else experienced this ?
