Authenticate user

Question

How can we authenticate a user by using an Android app.

Now we use the hotspot but what we want is that the user needs to have the app when they want access to the Internet vlan.

We use an external radius server for authentication.

Hi,

Yes there are now 2 vlan on the zonedirector, one for access to hotspot and when the users successfully logged in then they get access to the second vlan which also has access to the Internet.

Hello Eddy Tick,

could you please clarify which andriod app you are talking about?

My understanding is that user will be able to access internet after they authenticate using the AP on a different VLAN. Is that correct understanding?
