You can customise by adding removing information panes called "widgets" at bottom of dashboard.
see screenshots for location and whats available...each icon represents a slightly different subset of info which might or might not be useful. You'd have to look to see what is relevant.
Too much is confusing and slows page refresh down.

Experiment with which options you locate on the right or left side of your Dashboard pane. Some are wider than others. You will determine your favorite customization.
