Configuring managed AP via CLI

Question

Hello,

Is it possible to configure access point via CLI even though AP is managed by ZD? Simply I need to change name of few APs without having access to ZD. Can I simply use set device-name  command to do so? Also what will be the impact on ZD? Will new names be accepted and registered by ZD?

So If I will do it through the CLI - AP side - name displayed on the ZD will also change and remain changed?

Yes, that's the way to do it. Maybe you'll need to reboot the AP, but I don't think so.
