Zoneflex 7782 (Omni) mounted in Dome-Down Position

Question

I have several Zoneflex 7782's mounted in the suggested dome-down position as per the installation guide and have discovered this year that there are 4 units that were mounted in this position that are now inoperational. Has anyone encountered this issue with units installed in this position. I'm thinking water infiltration may be an issue with the design in this poistion. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Nope, the 7782s are hermetically sealed and designed for outdoor use, in the dome down position.

Rain alone would not cause an outage, but do you have grounding against electrical strikes?
