Migrating ZD1100 to ZD1200: Do I need to buy additional AP licenses as it only
comes with 6 but I run 12 currently?

Upgrading ZD1100 to ZD1200, aware of version requirements. As the ZD1200 comes with only 6 AP licenses will my config migration carry the 12 licenses currently running of do I need to bu anything else, get any new certificates, etc? I'm expecting it to just be a config transfer and boot up, is that accurate?

Other than bringing them to the same version, migrating the config over, adding the new licenses, there should be nothing else needed, correct? The exported config restore should cover all parts of setup?

Hi Mark,

You need to buy additional licenses for ZD1200, restoring the configurations will not transfer licenses from ZD1100 to ZD1200.

Temporary licenses can be generated using below link, which should be good for 30 days.
