Can the Zone Director 1100 (ZD1106) with firmware version 9.8.3.0 Build 14 support the r510 AP? How many APs can it support?

Hi Felix, the 1106 is the product ZD1100 with default 6 AP licenses hence 1106.
If you login to the webgui, you can see on the dashboard how many licenses you have in total, as it could be that additional licenses were bought.
And correct, the R510 is not support on that version

The release notes say no.... so don't think so. And even going to the latest version available for ZD1100 will not support any AP in the "x10"  series (310,510,610..etc).

No, R510 AP's are not supported.
the ZD1106 supports up to 6 AP's but you can install more licences to update more AP's.
even the latest firmware will not support the R510.
