Cannot log into the Ruckus App on iphone

Question

Im having problems with logging into the app on the iphone. When i click "Typical Install" and then click start, it says you must be connected to Configure.me WiFi to perform the operation.  What exactly is Configure.me and how do I connect?

Thank you for your response.

Step 1: Factory Reset the AP

Power on the AP.

Press and hold the Reset button for 10-15 seconds.

Release the button and wait 3-5 minutes for the AP to fully boot.

Step 2: Connect to Configure.Me

Open the Wi-Fi settings on your phone, tablet, or laptop.

Select the Configure.Me-XXXXXX SSID.

Connect to the network.

Note: The network is typically open and does not require a password.

Step 3: Stay Connected

Your device may display:

"No Internet Connection"

or

"Connected without Internet"

This is normal. Stay connected to the network.

Step 4: Open the Setup Page

Open a web browser and browse to:

https://configure.me

If that does not work, try:

https://192.168.0.1

You should see the Unleashed Setup Wizard.

Step 5: Complete the Setup

Follow the wizard to:

Create the Unleashed network

Set the administrator credentials

Configure the WLAN (Wi-Fi name and password)

I was able to reset the ruckus AP box and I did see the configure.me wifi link on my phone but I couldn't connect. Is there another way to see the configure.me link or another was to set this up for the typical install?

Hi @Virgo423

Configure.me SSID will be broadcasted when the AP is in Factory reset state.

To reset the AP, on the AP rear side, beside Ethernet port, you should see a Reset button, use a pin to press and old the button for 10 seconds.

Then the AP will be in Factory Reset state.
