Ruckus R600 5GHz channel selection

Question

I just bought an Ruckus R600 multimedia hotzone wireless AP and I want to choose channel 104 for my 5GHZ Network, yet its not in the list of available channels. How do I enable this extra channel space, my current channel spaces are all crowded and very noisy

Hi Dathan,

Are you using a ZD to manage the AP by any chance? If yes then you can get a good number of the UNII band channels to choose from. You need to go to ZD UI, System :: Country Code :: Channel Optimization and select Optimize for Performance".

Once enabled you will see Channel 104 listed under Configure :: Access Points :: Access Point Groups.
