ICX 7150 Switch Layer 2

Hi,

I have a new Layer 2 ICX 7150 switch and I want to connect it to 6 access points Ruckus R550. what I want to ask is how to configure the syntax to connect the switch to the access point, because here I am familiar with Cisco's device settings.

Here is the configuration I want to plan to do:

#conf t
#hostname SW_ACC_Test1
#username admin password P@ssw0rdTest
#aaa local default web authentification
# crypto-ssl certificate generate
# web-management https
#crypto key generate
#aaa local default login authentification
#enable telnet password P@ssw0rdTest
#write memory

#vlan 1 name management
#tagged e 1/1/1 to 1/1/6
#vlan 61 name SSID1
#tagged e 1/1/1 to 1/1/6
#vlan 62 name SSID2
#tagged e 1/1/1 to 1/1/6
#vlan 63 name SSID3
#tagged e 1/1/1 to 1/1/6
#vlan 65 name SSIDGuest
#tagged e 1/1/1 to 1/1/6

Please correct it if there is something missing.

Thanks,

Hi Muhammed,

Pls refer the management guide for first part of your config.

http://docs.ruckuswireless.com/fastiron/08.0.90/fastiron-08090-managementguide/fastiron-08090-manage...

The second part is correct for tagging ports under the respective vlans.

Thanks

Hi Jijo,

And how for the configuration syntax to connect to the core switch of the access switch that I have? is it same? add interface tags in each vlan?

Thanks,

If you are looking to tag all vlans from access to core, the above config holds good. Also have STP (802.1w) when there are redundant links to avoid any potential loop.

You can also open a Tac case and we can walk you thru the relevant switch configs based on your requirement and topology.

Thanks

Jijo
