Dell E7470 laptop and R730 access point failure

Hello, our Dell E7450 and E7470 laptops do not connect to our R730 access points which are controlled by Virtual Smartzone firmware 3.6.2. They do however connect to our older Ruckus wifi access points.
They are running AC wifi NICs. Has anyone else had the same problem or know what the fix would be ?
Thank you.

Laptop details:.
Dell E7450 and Dell E7470
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
They are running the lastest possible driver (version: 19.10.13.1)

Hi Philip,

Login to the AP cli and execute following command to verify the current mode of the AP:

rkscli: get mode wifi1
wifi1 Mode: 11ahe
OK

The ahe mode shows that the AP is operational at ax rates. To change the current mode to AC, use following command:

rkscli: set mode wifi1 11ac

Verify the mode change using following CLI:

rkscli: get mode wifi1
wifi1 Mode: 11ac
OK

This will probably fix the issue.

Yes you can try what he wrote, that will set it to ac mode.
I can say that I am using the same laptop with a R730 and R750 and have no problems.
If your problems continue, please open a case with support.
