New Homeowner - existing homeowner shared no info

Hello,

I am a new homeowner of a 2019 built Lennar home. The previous homeowner didn't share any existing info.

I have the following equipment installed in the Garage (Network Switch - ICX-7150 C12P), One Access point mounted to the ceiling of one bedroom on the 1st floor. The second Access point is mounted to the ceiling on the 2nd floor.

The network Switch is powered and 4 POE wires are connected to them already. A couple of them going to APs and one going to thermostat and I am not worried about where the 4th is going and couldn't figure it out.

One Access Point on the 1st floor seems to be working (Pwr green solid, CTL green solid, both wifi LEDs are amber)

2nd Access Point on the 2nd floor Power is solid red (seems like it is getting power but not working)

After seeing some previous posts, and videos I connected the Internet Gateway to the Network Switch and I am unsure what to do from here. Since I don’t know the WiFi SSID or password. I connect my Macbook to the switch using an ethernet cable. Now I am connected to the internet via cable to the switch.

How do I log in to the administration page? I tried unleashed.ruckuswireless.com and it didn’t work. Neither I could find out the IP of the switch to at least try to ssh. Thank you in advance.

Hi @SPY6190

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

Please connect all the ethernet cables to 12 ports as highlighted in the below screenshot. And reboot (unplug and plug from the power outlet) the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch once.

Please perform the factory reset of the Access Points and configure a new Wi-Fi network network/SSID. Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base self-help guide for the same.

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/Factory-reset-process-of-the...

IMPORTANT NOTE: As you have 2 R510 Access Points in your setup, remove the cables of any ONE Access Point, and perform the factory reset only on the ONE connected access point. Once you complete it, connect the unplugged Access point cables back to the Switch ports and it will sync up with the configurations from the factory reset Access Point.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
