Avoid client changes on the switch routing

Hello, so today as part of my learning I tried to connect a wi-fi router to my network. After a little while all the vlan was down. Looked into the running config and saw that the port had an ip assigned and also a route was placed for 0.0.0.0/0 which madr my other pcs to stop having internet access.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Thank you!

Hi Fernando,
What version are you running on the switch, and also please put the config changes you made in the forum so we can check what might cause it.

You need at least one (1) interface in a VLAN that is up for the route to be placed into the routing table.  Please check this.

This was it! Thank you!
