Thanks for that information.Based on the output, I set the arp-age timeout for the VLAN used for the router's inband management to "0" (which is infinite) and immediately the CPU dropped.Any idea why?

Yes, it's self changing. I can literally do a "show run" at the CLI and see how it changes between time spans. Nothing is logging in to make that change. I agree it should not be happening. I also did not see an issue like this in the latest 8.030u ...
