No power/lights on Switch and APs after power outage

Wpookis

We recently had a power outage and my Ruckus switch and 3 APs do not power on or have any green or orange lights. I used different outlets, used a pin for the reset button, sang it a song and still nothing. What are my next steps?

Hello,

I replaced the power cord with a new one, and again there are no lights or power going to the switch. Is there anything besides, disconnecting the.l cord several times, resetting several times and using a new power cord that I can do? What’s the next step now?

Hi @Wpookis

Thank you for sharing the requested information.

Based on the troubleshooting done, your ICX-7150-C12P Switch is not powering up, and when plugged into a power outlet there is no power to the Switch. Also, you tried to reset the Switch. And you confirm that the Switch is plugged into a well-known outlet/power source also tried with different cords. However, the failure persists. This unit Should be RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) in simple words replacing it.

Hi @Wpookis

Greetings!!!

Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

Hope you are doing well!!!

Thank you for the information you shared.

From the case description, I could understand that your RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch and Access Points are not powering up after a power outage.

First, we will try to reset the Switch as described below:

1. Please try to disconnect from the Power outlet the ICX-7150 and reconnect.

2. Please try to press the reset button using a paper click or a small stick

  • Remove power from the switch.
  • Press and hold the Reset button while applying power to the switch.
  • After all the system LEDs flash amber, release the Reset button.

Below is the Guide and Videos link for your reference:

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. I’ve reset multiple times and it is still dead. No lights, no power. What’s the next step?
