I have seen many related posts of people losing internet after a power outage. The response have advanced technical information. I need help to restore my internet step by step from the moment I log into the computer.

Thanks

Try to flash the switch boot image using USB (assuming you don't have network access) and that should fix the issue.

That guide you link is a little tricky.

when I run pintenv I get the IP address of my Gateway. so I'm unclear how to proceed

=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~= PuTTY log 2022.11.05 11:55:40 =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=

ICX7150-Boot>printenv

uboot=mnz10115.bin

Hi @renotse

Here is the official guide

https://docs.commscope.com/bundle/fastiron-08092-upgradeguide/page/GUID-9B5D5A56-039D-44FB-8FD2-B9B5...

and Here is video link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql22blH_CGo

Basically in simple words the TFTP server ( server it would be your PC ) the IP address '192.168.1.1' is your switch so you have to match this addressing between your PC-ICX to preform the software recovery

Like PC to have 192.168.1.2 and ICX switch 192.168.1.1 since they are under the same addressing range they can have connectivity and preform the software recovery .

You can omit the Gateway address  if the connecting is PC to ICX

Thank you,

I was able to recover my ICX7150 and reinstall the software from  files I have from a previous upgrade.

My desire now, is to upgrade the software to the most current and stable version. I would like you to guide me in the file selection and upgrade method. (there are lots of file options on the download page for my switch)

I have read this guide and plan to use it.

How to Upgrade a Switch ICX-7150-C12P using a USB flash drive
https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-Upgrade-a-Switch-ICX-...

I'm confused if I need to to the intermediate upgrade or if I am able to go straight to the latest recommended version.

I am able to ssh into my ICX7150 and here is partial output from "show version" command

SSH@ICX7150-C12 Switch>show version

P.S. I am confused by this  detail. I had 2 files to choose from when I reinstalled SPS08090d.bin or SPS08090dufi.bin. I chose SPS08090.bin, but my "show version" output refers to SPS08090d.bin (UFI).

Please elaborate on the difference in the UFI version
