I’ve researched this already and found the solution but my issue is when trying to get the switch to reboot from the correct primary code SPS…., there is an issue getting the Kernel for the primary code and then the switch boots from the secondary code SPR…

Thanks, finally got it completed, not something the average home user could do, Ruckus should look into making this an easier task knowing that this is a known issue when there are power outages.   Thanks again,  Morgan

Hi @Whitemm

Please upgrade the Switch instead to copy what is in your primary to the secondary to the recommended code 08095g UFI, take into consideration that if your switch is running a code lower than 08080f, you need to upgrade twice using the next path

The code you are>08080f>08095g using the file SPS08095gufi.bin in both partition primary and secondary

Example:

1a) device# copy tftp flash 10.176.220.51 SPR08080f.bin primary

1b) device# copy tftp flash 10.176.220.51 spz10114.bin bootrom

Show flash  (ensure that you have the new flash code)

Write memory

reload

Now you can go to the recommended code:

2a) device# copy tftp flash 10.176.220.51 SPR08095gufi.bin primary

2b) device# copy tftp flash 10.176.220.51 SPR08095gufi.bin secondary

Show flash  (ensure that you have the new flash code)

Write memory

Reload

Hi @Whitemm

After upgrading to the code 08095g UFI using the switching code in both partitions, you should not have this issue anymore.
