Hi.

I got a setup with 25 Zone Flex 7363 connected to a Zone Director 1012 with firmware version 9.3.4.0 build21.

I feed them with 300 Mbps with and only get 50 to 70 Mbps 5 Feet away. The APs are connected to the Poe port.

Lan Port Satus.

Hi Rasmus,

WiFi speed cannot be directly compared with wired network.

Wireless is a half duplax vs ethernet is full duplex.

Speed depends upon several factors like client WLAN card capabilities, Access points capabilities, number of streams, data rates supported by both the parties and environment related conditions like noise floor, SNR, signal strength and interference.

ZF7363 and ZD1000 is legacy devices and maximum data rate (not the internet speed) is 300Mbps (on 40MHz).

70 Mbsp internet speed is still not too bad for a legacy device.

Try forcing the client to 5G radio and see if that improves speed, some tuning on WiFi settings may also improve speed.

Thanx for the fast reply. Do you have any suggestions what to tune on the wifi setting? And du you know what "connection L2" means?

Thanx for your time.
