Change Access Points from static to DHCP

Some of our Ruckus units are on static IP addresses - we recently received a notice from Ruckus  that our network might not function due to their static IP addresses. How can we fix this? Ruckus support has literally given us no answers except "I will reach out to my engineering team" and I got no response.

We're on Ruckus Cloud Version 2018.06 (Build 24)

Hi Phillip,

One of the easiest (not too easy) ways is, setup the DHCP on your wired network correctly and then factory reset the AP.

Factory resetting the AP will remove the static IP config and AP should get an IP from DHCP server (if DHCP and switch port VLAN is configured correctly).

I am not sure if there is any other way to do it for now but I think this option will be added in the future.

Try this first on just one AP, if it works, you can do it on rest of the APs.
