Hi Clifford,

I believe so, as long as your client is using VMware or Hyper-V hypervisors in the nodes that are running SCI.

Thanks!

Hi See Ho,

Client is using Acropolis Hypervisor. What we have done is untar the OVA file and uploaded the .vdmk file on the machine, configured the necessary compute, vCPUs,Memory, HDD 80G and 100G and NIC. But we encounter dracut error when looking at the installation via console.

Not sure how do we proceed.

Hi Clifford,

I see...unfortunately SCI does not support the Acropolis hypervisor today. It does support VMware and Hyper-V which I believe are also supported in Nutanix HCI platform.

So, the only way to get this going is to have either VMware or Hyper-V running in Nutanix, and then install SCI on top of these hypervisors.

Regards,
See Ho

NGT installed on the VM? Are the VirtIO drivers installed (or enabled)?
