Portal Redirection for WISPr Portal not happening

Client connected to Hotspot authentication based SSID and gets IP from DHCP pool. Redirection to portal page is not happening.
IP pool have routes to internet and walled garden entries work properly. Portal page is in public internet and typing URL on browser works as well.
vSZ 3.4.1 with R500 APs used.
My questions are
Whether redirection happen at AP or Controller?
Do we need to have route from client IP to vSZ.?
If so how redirection works with enterprises where local DHCP server used is working?

Hi Pamuditha,

During WISPr redirection call in vSZ-AP environment, AP will do the redirection part. 

Yes, Client to vSZ connectivity is required. 

Hoping your local DHCP server providing local DNS server details which is able to resolve the external portal page.
